How to Make Soy Candles:
1. Prepare your workspace
Cover the work surface with paper or plastic. Ensure all tools are clean and dry.
2. Prepare the wicks and jars
Attach the wick to the center of each jar using adhesive. Use wooden holders to keep the wick straight.
3. Melt the wax
Melt soy wax in a water bath over low heat. Keep the temperature between 42°C and 60°C and avoid overheating. Check with a thermometer.
4. Add fragrances and dyes
Add dye (1–1.5 g per 500 g of wax) and mix until smooth. Add fragrance at 2% of total wax weight (2 g per 100 g of wax).
5. Pour the candles
Carefully pour the melted wax into jars, leaving 1–2 cm of wick above the surface. Choose wick size according to jar diameter.
6. Allow to cool
Let the candles harden completely, then trim the wick to the desired height.
7. Decorate and finish
Attach kraft tags, ribbons, twine, and decorative stickers. Place finished candles into organza bags for gifting.
