How to Make Soy Candles:
Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Cover your table with newspaper or plastic wrap. Ensure that all tools are clean and completely dry.
Step 2: Set Up the Wicks
Attach the wooden wicks to the bottom of the jars using adhesive stickers. Use centering holders to keep them upright and positioned correctly.
Step 3: Melt the Wax
Melt the soy wax in a water bath on low heat. Maintain the temperature between 42°C and 60°C and avoid boiling.
Step 4: Add Dye and Fragrance
Mix in dyes and fragrances until fully combined.
- Dye: 1–1.5 g per 500 g of wax (adjust for preferred color intensity)
- Fragrance: 2% of total wax weight (2 g per 100 g; 1 g ≈ 25 drops)
Step 5: Pour the Candles
Carefully pour the wax into the jars, leaving 1–2 cm of wick above the surface. Choose wick size according to jar diameter.
Step 6: Let the Candles Set
Allow candles to cool and harden completely. Trim wicks to the desired length.
Step 7: Decorate and Package
Apply stickers, label the tags, and decorate the jars with ribbon or twine. Close the lids and pack your handmade candles into organza bags.
