Just imagine that in order to dye 1 lb of wax you will need only 0.02-0.05 oz of dye! If you're buying our 16 color set, it will be enough to color 53 lb or 24 kg of wax!
CREATE NEW COLORS
Feel like 16 colors are not enough to fulfill your creative ideas? The dye flakes are easily crashed into even smaller pieces to be conveniently mixed with other colors, thus creating a variety of additional beautiful colors and shades. In the reference guide enclosed in each product box, you will see the detailed table on mixing colors.
EXPERIMENT WITH TEXTURES AND SHADES
If you like working with soy wax, you will of course know that its initial milk-white color will change the dye color to its more pastel version. Working with paraffin, you will have your candle in a more saturated version. You may also want to try this dye with palm wax. You will absolutely love the frosty patterns this type of wax produces in finished products.

You can't even imagine how much you will get from a tiny piece of this dye. It dissolves completely, there won’t be any clots in the candle mass, and the staining will be even. In addition, the finished candle keeps its brightness and does not tarnish with time, and the surface will not get flaky. And the colors are mesmerizing!
How to calculate the required amount of dye?
The dosage depends on fat content, hardness, and purity of wax you're using. To dye the entire base of paraffin weighing 1 lb, only 0.02-0.04 oz of dye is sufficient. For wax weighing the same, you will need a bit more: 0.03-0.05 oz.
Candles coloring can be performed in two ways:
- Entire dyeing. The dye is added to the paraffin mixture of the melted base, is mixed thoroughly until full solidification, and then poured into a mold.
- Partial dyeing. Dipping of the finished product in the solution is carried out after the candles have completely cooled and solidified.

Candle dying process
Melt the wax
Adhere to the melting temperature prescribed by the manufacturer. In order for the dye to start melting, it must not be less than 158 °F ( 70 °C) and must not exceed 194 °F (90 °C).
Add some dye
Remember that our dye is very concentrated. The recommended proportion per 1 lb of wax is:
Soy wax - 0.03-0.05 oz of dye
Paraffin - 0.02-0.04 oz of dye
Palm wax - 0.03-0.05 oz of dye
Stir continuously
Please make sure you stir the wax with dye incessantly for 3-5 minutes at a stable temperature until the dye is fully dissolved. Yes, you might have to show some patience here.
Fill the mold
Prepare a mold for your candle beforehand. You may use plastic or silicone molds, or make a candle in a glass. Pour the hot colored wax into your mold and let it solidify.
