How to Make Soy Candles:
Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Cover your work area with newspaper or plastic. Ensure tools are clean and dry.
Step 2: Set Up the Wicks
Fix the wooden wicks at the center of each gypsum pot using adhesive stickers. Stabilize with wick holders.
Step 3: Melt the Wax
Melt soy wax in a water bath over low heat. Keep temperature between 42°C and 60°C and avoid boiling.
Step 4: Add Fragrance and Dye
Mix in dye and fragrance until fully blended.
- Dye: 1–1.5 g per 500 g wax (adjust for color depth)
- Fragrance: 2% of wax weight (2 g per 100 g; 1 g ≈ 25 drops)
Step 5: Pour the Candles
Pour the wax into the gypsum pots, leaving 1–2 cm of wick above the surface. Use proper wick size for pot diameter.
Step 6: Let the Candles Set
Allow candles to cool completely. Trim wicks to desired height.
Step 7: Decorate and Package
Attach tags, add stickers, decorate with ribbon or twine, close the lids, and place the finished candles in organza bags.
